Man, I was having a serious case of the munchies just now. I went to the vending machine and looked over my options. Then I thought, "Screw this. I'm fat enough." So instead of eating, I climbed the stairs from the basement to the 5th floor. Now I'm sweaty... But at least I didn't eat crap.
The weekend was pretty uneventful. Mom and Dad went to Tunica to gamble. (bastards!) Randy and I hung around the house and watched basketball. I cleaned the house a bit and played on the computer. Pretty boring stuff.
Sunday was Randy's birthday. My grandmother took us to lunch at Poblano's to celebrate. Then Randy and I headed back home for more basketball. The weather was really nice so I played outside with Horatio a lot. Mom and Dad came over for dinner since they happened to get back into town around chow time. We had steak and chicken on the grill. Dad brought home pictures of a "South Park" slot machine that they played. I never thought I'd see "South Park" as a slot machine. That's awesome. Now I have a serious urge to head to Tunica just so I can play it.
The NCAA tourney was pretty interesting. I liked all the upsets, especially Bucknell and Vermont. Good for them. I'm a big sucker for the little guys. Wake Forrest totally screwed my bracket. I had them winning the whole tourney and the bastards got bounced by West Virginia in double overtime of round 2. I'm pissed, although that was a hell of a game.
I guess that's all I've got to say. I don't feel like my mind is firing on all thrusters today. I think the "Annual Report" is taking it's toll on me. That's a lot of damn work. What was I thinking?
Oh yeah. One more thing. I'm going to see Cake again. They're performing in Tulsa on the TU campus on April 7th. I can't believe it. I am so unbelievably excited. I had been trying for 2 years to find a show close enough for me to go see them and now another one just 3 months after I finally saw them for the first time. Sweet!
