Hooray for Financial Irresponsibility

I'm using my tax refund to get a new computer. Financially responsible? Hell no. But screw it. I've been bitching for years about my crappy computer and it's time to do something about it. I ordered a new one from Dell yesterday. Dell was having a good sale with lots of free upgrades so I was able to get a lot of bang for my buck. It's got the power and video card to handle any video game on the market. Of course, I really just want to play The Sims 2, but my game selection options are limitless should I decide to broaden my horizons, which I'm sure I will - you know, because I'm a huge nerd. So, by the end of next week I will have a totally bad ass computer. Woo!

The Amazing Race 7 started last night. It was pretty awesome. There weren't any instantly hate inducing teams which was a nice change from the hate-fest that was TAR6. I could live without those former Survivor assholes. Why are they there? (I know. Ratings. Still...) They've already got a million bucks. Screw them. Plus they mention Survivor every five seconds. And the other teams are obsessed with them and mention Survivor every five seconds too. Everyone needs to shut up about it already. Survivor blows goats and I don't give a rat's ass. I really liked those hillbilly guys that got eliminated. They were annoying yet kind of hilarious. I loved the awesome hillbilly theme music supplied by the Amazing Editors. The hillbillies had good comedic potential so I wish they could have stayed a bit longer. They were so much more interesting than say... the Survivor assholes. Stupid CBS ratings gimmick...
