No Bitching Allowed.

Welcome to the new and improved AudreysAudities.com. I've moved the site and it is now hosted by Livejournal.com. This is a good solution to the issues I was having with the old site. I like the way this looks. I can easily incorporate pictures. I can backdate and move my old stuff over. Plus it's easy as hell to update which means I'll probably write more. Oh, and there's a spellchecker, woo! Most importantly, I feel comfortable here. Last time I tried to move the site, I had some complaints that it didn't feel like me. It wasn't personal enough. Well, this isn't perfect, but I feel like I was able to salvage some of the charm of the old site. I've still got the AudreysAudities cow. I've got my favorite color scheme. Everything is ok. So that's it. No bitching. I've changed the site. Deal with it.

As you can see, there are a couple of entries I did while I was trying to decide if I should make the change. I've also moved most of my updates for 2004 and will continue to move all my old content over here. I hope that my small yet loyal core of readers, (all 3 of you) will be able to accept this change without suffering too much trauma. I hate change as much as anyone, but this just had to be done.

So today is my birthday. Woo! I'm 31. I have nothing to say about that really. It's a day, not unlike any other day, except that there are snacks and cake at the office. Mmmmm, food.

Last Friday I went to see Modest Mouse in concert at the Nokia Theater in Grand Prairie, Texas. It was a good show. The warm up bands totally blew but Modest Mouse sounded great. I had a good time. Mom, Dad and Randy went too. I don't think they felt like Modest Mouse was worth a three and half hour trip each way. And honestly, if they had played in any other venue in the DFW area, I wouldn't have gone. But that Nokia Theater is sweet. It's got really good sound and there's not a bad seat in the house. It's a top notch facility.

The weekend was otherwise uneventful. Randy caught that icky flu that's going around so we weren't able to leave the house much. He was feeling crappy all weekend and by Sunday evening was very pukey. It wasn't pretty. But he's on the mend now and feeling much better. We did leave briefly for a friend's birthday party but we didn't stay very long. There's really not much to talk about.

I guess that's all for today. I hope you enjoy the new place. Toodles.
