12:55 pm

So I had a totally kick-ass party at my house this weekend. Randy and I invited a bunch of my friends and family and a bunch of his friends and family and turned them loose in the backyard together to see what would happen. The result was a traffic nightmare on my street as parked cars lined both sides of the street for a block and a shit-load of empty beer cans. We had about 50 people show up for burgers, hot dogs and other munchies. I also noticed several curious neighbors on their porches trying to figure out what was going on. The party kept going until about 12:30 and was enjoyed by all. It was a blast.

I was in the bathroom at work this morning and some woman was talking on her cell phone while taking a dump. She dropped a long loud greasy fart while she was talking. It was definitely loud enough to be heard by whomever she was talking to. It sounded like she was talking to someone about some sort of account or getting something fixed at her house. Doesn't matter who it was. The point is that she was talking business to someone she didn't even know yet she seemed perfectly comfortable letting them listen in to her business. This is just so very wrong. I've mentioned this before in my list of things that piss me off - if you've got my number, please do not use it while you are on the toilet. I don't want to hear it. I am so amazed at how often I hear women on the phone in a public restroom. Why can't these women see that such behavior is just plain wrong. I don't get it. Last time I was in Vegas, there was a woman in the bathroom at the Bellagio having a serious case of diarrhea just chatting away like she was on her living room sofa. It's unbelieveable.

That's it for today. The Redhawks are back in town so hopefully something interesting will happen. Later.
